Easy operation
A HIRO stair lift is very easy to operate in every respect. With its sophisticated technology, it is a user-friendly high-tech product. The installation in your staircase is quick and clean. Installation:
Our service technicians (or our local partner company outside Germany) call round on the agreed date. They install the lift and make it ready for operation. Everything is completed within a few hours. You do not need to move furniture or to worry about anything. A normal socket is all that is required for the power supply.
Operation:
In its space-saving park position, the lift is folded up. In order to sit on the seat, first fold the footplate down using the conveniently placed lever. Then fold out the seat, fold down the armrests and sit down.
To ride the stair lift you will only need to give the commands for up and down. Move the large control lever on the armrest in the direction you wish to travel: the lift sets off right away. It continues to move as long as you keep the lever pressed. Some may find it more convenient to use the control unit on the flexible spiral cable instead of the control lever on the armrest. You can place this unit comfortably on your lap, for example. The two large buttons for the up and down directions are just as easy to use as the lever on the armrest.When you arrive at the upper landing, the swivel seat moves automatically to the optimum position for dismounting, without the need for you to give any further commands. You have reached your destination safely and can now leave the lift without risk.
Calling or dispatching the lift using the simple radio remote control unit is just as easy as riding on the lift. All you need to do is press the “Up” or “Down” button: the lift sets off immediately in the desired direction.
No further operating steps are necessary.
