Special options for fixing the guide rails

The guide rails of a stair lift are customarily fixed to supports which are screwed on to the treads of your staircase.
We also provide various fixing options which do not require any drilling or bonding to the treads of your valuable staircase.  Your staircase can stay just the way it is.

Clamp fixing

Clamp fixing:
The supports are fixed with the aid of clamps which are slid onto the step.

Wall-mounting with upright supports

Wall-mounting with upright supports:
The supports are screwed to the wall with an angle bracket.  Since they are merely resting on the step to absorb the weight, the stair remains intact.

Supports in the stairwell

Supports in the stairwell:
This makes it possible to run very tight curves around the handrail. This fixing method without drilling the steps is frequently used in blocks of flats.

Fixation to stair string

Fixation to stair string:
The supports are fixed to the inner sides of the steps. After removal, it is far easier to repair drill holes in the stair string than in the stair tread

Fixation to wire rods

Fixation to wire rods:
This offers the advantage that the steps do not need to be drilled and that fewer supports are needed.

Wall-mounting without supports

Wall-mounting without supports:
This type of wall-mounting (in a variety of options) is possible in certain cases.
